Warm it Up!

Wow!  It's Friday already.  Where does the time go?  I wanted to jump online and post before I head out for a full day of shopping...gotta love those tax free back to school days! :) 

For the Pre-challenge "Warm it Up" being hosted at Candy Shoppe Designs, I created a little Fall Mini Book.  I've been wanting to do this...so thank you Lynnette for the motivation! :)

Every year I look forward to setting up a Fall display outside.  This year, Brianna was eager to help me. Decorating quickly turned into a photo op!  I couldn't resist...she was just too darn cute! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the last page, I made a pocket to hold my journaling card and extra little photos.

It never fails.  I have another song stuck in my head because of a layout!  So...figured that would be a good blog post title for today.  :)

Yay!!!  It's Friday!

I'm sitting here with a cup of coffee and my head is just a spinnin' from all that I've got to do in the next couple of days/ weeks.  I've got a birthday party to plan, projects and cleaning around the house that need to be done, shopping to do, get things squared away so Brianna can start Pre-K, layouts I want to do...on and on and on...

Taking deep breaths.....(mumble to myself, "One day at a time, Sandy".)

Now onto something scrappy...I actually drug out the sewing machine for this one...hadn't sewn on a layout in a LONG while..was intimidated. LOL 

And...was trying to give this a 1950's look or something...not sure if I accomplished that. Haha!  Love the October Afternoon "Cherry Hill" line but it was hard for me to work with for some reason.

 

 

 

 

Oh yes..there's a new Pre-Challenge up at Candy Shoppe Designs called "Warm it Up".   It looks fun but it might just kick my butt!! :)  You have to use WARM colors---definitely a challenge!
